城东街道是福建省泉州市丰泽区下辖的街道，位于丰泽区东部，办事处设在黄林路99号。[1]街道因地处泉州市区东面而得名，民间也称“东门外”。[2]2003年2月，城东镇改制为街道；2025年1月，泉州市人民政府批复调整东海、城东、华大三个街道的管辖范围，调整后，城东街道辖区内的社区减为10个。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋朝时，此地属晋江县晋江乡下的鸾歌里。元、明、清三代分属三十七、三十八都，民国时期归晋江县东洛镇辖，其后称东北乡。[2]1950年划入晋江县第三、第四区，1956年设东星乡，1958年并入东海人民公社。[2]1961年从东海公社分出，成立城东公社；1990年改为镇；2003年2月，城东镇改为街道。[2]

2025年1月批复的调整，把西福、新前、泉铁三个社区划归华大街道，城东街道的辖区由此缩小为10个社区。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

街道东临洛阳江与泉州湾，南与东海街道接壤，西依清源山，北抵双阳农场。[4]泉州火车站和福厦高速公路出入口都在辖区之内，国道324线与安吉路贯穿境内。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

浔美万氏家庙及碑刻建于清代，是市级文物保护单位，位于浔美社区。[2]泉州市革命烈士纪念碑建于1996年，列为近现代重要史迹，同为市级文物保护单位，位于东星社区。[2]
