华大社区位于泉州市丰泽区华大街道，地处华侨大学一带，2003年4月设立。社区由华侨大学原有的东院、西院、南院三个居民区整合而成，是一个依托高校的单位型社区。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

社区原本由华侨大学内的东院、西院、南院三个居民区各自设立居委会。2003年4月，三个居委会合并为一个，即华大社区居委会。[1][2][3]

社区范围[edit]

社区北面与法花美社区相接，东边到达城东前林，西边至城东社区的新厝头后路，南面与城东社区相邻。社区的管辖范围即华侨大学，包括东区、西区、南区、新南区四个居民区，以及北区的学生生活区。[1][2]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把华大社区定为「2021年福建省卫生社区」；2024年12月，社区列入「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
