后茂社区位于清源山风景区赐恩山麓，东以齐云路为界，北临清源山麓，是清源街道下辖的社区。[1][2]社区原为泉州市鲤城区北峰镇后茂村，2003年改设后茂社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，地名因村后有赐恩岩、周边林木茂盛而得。[1]此地1984年改设北峰乡后茂村委会，至2003年才改为社区。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

开闽许氏宗祠位于清源山赐恩岩半山腰，在社区境内。1995年，许氏宗亲筹资重新修建，至1999年才告竣工。2010年9月，它被公布为第六批泉州市文物保护单位。[4]

妙月和尚舍利塔位于清源山南麓五大峰下，建于民国时期，为市级文物保护单位。[1][3]

辖区内的旅游景点还包括赐恩岩、龟山岩、山海奇会与李仙公。[1]
