环清社区位于清源街道北部，东邻后茂社区，北接清源山，是清源街道下辖的社区。[1][3]社区旧名任埔，名称因旧属环山乡、地处清源山下而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，此地归泉州府晋江县三十九都内的泉山铺管辖；民国时属晋江县西北镇的泉埔保，新中国成立初改属泉州市南台区。1958年，此地组成北峰公社下的环清大队，1984年又改为北峰乡环清村，2003年由村改社区，成立环清社区居委会。[1][2][3]

设施与驻区单位[edit]

据2026年1月政府公示，社区辖一个自然村和五个居民小组。社区建有「党建+」邻里中心、「综治+」社会治理中心和老年人活动中心，驻区单位有泉州市戒毒所、市拘留所和清源派出所。[3]

荣誉[edit]

社区党组织先后获「丰泽区疫情防控和复工复产先进基层党组织」「泉州市先进基层党组织」等称号。[3]
