历史沿革[edit]
清代，此地为晋江县三十九都的福安铺，民国时为西北镇福清保，新中国成立初归泉州市南台区。1958年列为北峰人民公社的城口大队，1984年改称北峰乡城口村。[1]2001年，城口居委会得以设立；至2003年8月，它与建宝、邮电两个小区一并组成城口社区居委会。[1][2]据政府公示，党支部同样在2003年8月设立，2021年8月才改为党总支。[3]
地理与设施[edit]
社区东面临西湖，与西湖公园相望，社区活动广场上有两棵树龄约五百年的古榕。[2]
政府2026年1月的公示称，社区面积为1.5平方千米，内分14个居民小组，另有10个居住小区与8个网格，约3804户住户。驻区机构共六家，依次为中侨集团、中国邮政储蓄、清峰市场管理监督所、北峰税务、污水排泄中心与园林绿化管理所，此外还有一所公立小学。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2020年、2021年，社区党总支连续两年获「丰泽区先进基层党组织」称号；社区的「党建+」邻里中心获评「市三星级邻里中心」。[3]
