灯星社区隶属福建省泉州市丰泽区泉秀街道，位于泉州中心市区东南地段，正处街道中部。社区东靠刺桐路，西界田安大桥，南滨晋江下游北岸，北抵淮福街。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属晋江县涂门外的三十五都，民国时属法石镇西南保。建国后分属晋江县第三区与南台区，1951年划归泉州市东海乡。1958年起称东海公社灯星大队，1984年又改为东海乡灯星村。[2]

2002年6月，乡镇改为街道，村改为社区，灯星社区随之设立。[2]社区名称来自早年沿晋江捕鱼谋生的村民：夜里江上的渔灯，形如闪烁的星光。[2]

人口民族[edit]

社区辖6个自然村：乌洲、后淮、浦西、草埕、东村、水口，其中乌洲与浦西为主村。全社区划为18个居民小组。人口5027人分布于1975户之中，男性2483人、女性2544人。[1]

常住人口4998人，外出流动人口495人。人口较多的姓氏为庄、梁、张、林。[1]

地理环境[edit]

东西向的宝洲街与南北向的刺桐路贯穿辖区，江滨路通往沿海大通道；刺桐大桥与田安大桥分列社区东西两侧。[1]

文化[edit]

社区有宫庙7座，另有宗祠1座，散布于各自然村口，也在安置小区附近。[1]

浦西庄氏宗祠始建于明代。2010年因城市建设，浦西村整体征迁；2017年，宗祠在浦西花园内另址重建，与村庄一同迁移。[1]

土特产是浦西瑶绿豆饼；境内的公园有北滨江田安公园与北滨江浦西公园。[1]

2020年11月，社区获泉州市委、市政府授予「泉州市2017-2019年度文明社区」；2023年3月，社区评为三星级「党建+」邻里中心，2024年4月升为四星级。[1]2024年6月，社区被泉州市委、丰泽区委授予「全市先进基层党组织」称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

在「第四次全国文物普查新发现未定级不可移动文物名录」中，本社区名下有两处：后淮天后宫，为明代、清代的古建筑；乌洲建大宗祠记碑，为清代石刻。[3]
