泉秀街道隶属福建省泉州市丰泽区，处在泉州市中心市区的东南部，南面濒临晋江下游北岸，东面与东海街道接壤，西面与临江街道为邻。[1][2]

街道办事处位于田安路南段东侧。辖内共有七个社区，即华丰、灯洲、灯星、沉洲、泉淮、新秀与成洲。1997年原鲤城区一分为二，新设的丰泽区接管了本街道。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1992年，原东海镇的灯星、灯洲、沉洲三村的辖区划出，组成本街道，同年9月正式设立。[1][3]街道名称来源于境内的泉秀公路，此路旧时是泉州通往秀涂的道路。[1]

1997年8月，原鲤城区被拆分，划出的街道归入丰泽区。[3]

人口民族[edit]

2011年末，街道户籍人口数为30426人。[3]

文化[edit]

2021年2月，街道列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

在「第四次全国文物普查新发现未定级不可移动文物名录」中，列有本街道的三处未定级文物，分布于灯星、灯洲两个社区。[5]
