源淮社区是丰泽街道下辖的社区，位于市区中心以东，辖区面积0.69平方千米。社区东以坪山路为界，南抵津淮街，西接刺桐东路，北与丰泽街相连。[1][2]

社区名称的来历：明代此处还是滩涂，蔡姓族人迁来定居后成村，村名由此而来。[1]

2002年，社区成立，设源淮社区居委会。[1][2]

丰泽区人民政府网站的社区基本信息页（2026年1月发布）载，居住小区约20个，包括云谷小区、福新花园城等，居住人口15868人。社区党委之下有3个党支部，党员278名。[2]

荣誉[edit]

社区先后获得「全国文明单位」「全国科普示范社区」等国家级荣誉11项。[2]

2018年7月，源淮社区获司法部、民政部表彰，被评为「第七批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

2022年10月，源淮社区被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」。[1]

2024年12月，源淮社区上榜「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
