东涂社区是丰泽街道下辖的社区，地处泉州市区中心。四界为：北以丰泽街为界，南以津淮街为界，东以刺桐西路为界，西以田安路为界，辖区面积约0.6平方千米。[2]

社区名称来自旧时的泉州市南台区东涂乡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地分属晋江县三十五都、三十六都及东湖铺；民国时归晋江县法石镇的迎春保和云谷保。新中国成立后，此地归晋江县第三区管辖；1951年县市分治，改由泉州市南台区东涂乡管理。[1]

1958年起并入东海公社，成为东涂大队；1980年起成为东海乡东涂村。2002年6月，原华达、津淮居委会与原东涂居委会的若干自然村整合，改设东涂社区。[1][2]

据丰泽区人民政府网站的社区基本信息页（2026年1月发布），社区住宅小区共29个，划分网格10个；常住居民17809人，计3592户，另有外来人口约4600人。[2]

社区党委之下有3个党支部，党员共278人。[2]
