东湖街道是泉州市中心城区的一个街道办事处，名称取自辖区内的东湖公园。[2]

街道辖区面积5.06平方千米，2021年总人口6.03万人，辖区内有多处古迹、景区和文体设施。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

东湖街道办事处成立于1992年12月。[1]2020年，街道获福建省委、省政府授予「2018-2020年度省级文明单位」称号。[1]

地理与交通[edit]

田安路、刺桐路、少林路、湖心街和东湖街穿过辖区，国道324线与省道305线也经过这里。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

伊斯兰教圣墓位于凤山社区东南的灵山南坡，墓葬为伊斯兰教先知穆罕默德的两位门徒，即「三贤」与「四贤」。墓区始建于唐高祖武德年间，为「第三批全国重点文物保护单位」。[7]

急功尚义坊位于凤山社区，建于清康熙五十四年（1715年），建造缘由是李森赈灾行善，李森是李光地的八世祖。2009年，它被列为「第七批省级文物保护单位」。[5][6]

省僜诸禅师舍利塔在凤山南坡，年代自北宋延续至民国，属古墓葬，为泉州市文物保护单位。[4]

泉州海外交通史博物馆在东湖街设有东湖新馆。该馆1959年创建，新馆1991年落成，以古代海外交通和海上丝绸之路为主题，属国家一级博物馆。[8]

辖区内的旅游资源还有南少林寺文化旅游场所、东湖公园、清源山与灵山。[1]

2021年，辖区有市级以上行政和企事业单位59家，泉州税务局、人民保险公司等驻于此。[1]

辖区有湖心小商品一条街，湖心街上还有轻型建材专业市场。[1]
