华塑社区位于福建省泉州市鲤城区，属常泰街道，是街道里面积最小的一个社区，靠近江南大街，县道301线也从旁经过。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

社区名称来自当地的华塑厂。该厂是国家设立的归侨安置单位，社区居民多为归侨与侨眷，由此得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区所在的生活区是1960年代由泉州市人民政府为安置华侨难民而建，附属于泉州华侨塑料厂。塑料厂后来经营不善，停产倒闭，厂区土地使用权也已拍卖。2003年村改居，由华塑厂家属委员会改为社区居民委员会。[2][3]

人口[edit]

社区人口1128人（2012年社区概况）。居民多是1960年自印尼、1978年自越南归国的华侨，另有从新加坡、柬埔寨、缅甸等国回来的归侨，故有「小联合国」之称。[1][3][4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，社区获福建省爱卫办评定的省级卫生社区称号。[2]
