历史沿革[edit]
社区名称的来源，据博雅地名网载，是四周平地中突起一座较高的山头[1]。
据博雅地名网所载，元末明初已有金氏在此定居；清乾隆年间，延陵吴氏族人陆续迁入，聚落由此逐渐形成[2][3]。
村址曾处于南安、晋江、泉州三地交界处，隶属多次变动。德化、永春、安溪、南安通往泉州府的驿道从村中经过，村里一度成为四县货物进入泉州的集散地，并形成「货埠街」[2][3]。
名胜古迹[edit]
社区内保留古驿道遗址与货埠街遗迹，另有古民居数座和百年古榕树三株[2][3]。
著名人物[edit]
武举人吴青云，清乾隆己亥年间考中武举人，出自本社区的吴氏族人[2]。
