明光社区是福建省泉州市鲤城区江南街道下辖的社区，位于江南新区东南端，东临兴贤路，辖区面积0.43平方千米。[1][2]社区原名展城社区，于2002年12月设立，2011年12月改名为明光社区。[1][2]社区名称来自辖内的明光花园小区。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是展城社区，2002年12月设立。[1]2011年12月，区里调整了展览城一带的规划，远太工业区、明光花园与摩卡小镇等三个小区划入展城社区，社区随之改名为明光社区。[2]

人口与辖区[edit]

鲤城区政府网社区简介载，居民总数在7800多人，其中常住的有1264户、4420人；流动人口为1400户、3380多人，此页未注统计年份。[1]辖内五个小区为展览城商贸街、明光盛源、明光花园、摩卡小镇与远太工业区。[1]
