霞洲社区是福建省泉州市鲤城区江南街道下辖的社区，位于江南新区，东傍笋江溪，西邻锦美社区，南临王宫社区，北接浮桥，总面积约0.44平方千米。[1][3][4]社区原属浮桥街道，2006年11月划入江南街道。[2]辖内的霞洲妈祖宫为泉州市级文物保护单位。[5]

历史沿革[edit]

此地过去归浮桥街道管辖，2006年11月区划调整后并入江南街道。[2]博雅地名网称，地名的由来是社区位于晋江西岸，滩涂淤成小洲。[2]

人口与荣誉[edit]

鲤城区政府网社区简介载，社区有732户，总人口2471人，此页未注统计年份。[1]社区设8个居民小组。[4]2012年，全国妇联将社区列为「第二批全国妇联基层组织建设示范村（社区）」；2018年，社区获「福建省消防安全示范社区」称号；2020年，社区获泉州市「2017-2019年度文明社区」称号。[1]2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予社区「2021年福建省卫生社区」称号。[2]

文物[edit]

霞洲妈祖宫为市级文物保护单位，明至现代的古建筑。据百度百科，宫址原为宋代林氏家庙，至明末才改成妈祖宫，后因晋江下游防洪岸线整治而迁建。[5]
