登峰社区位于鲤城区南部，属江南街道管辖，东面与泉州经济技术开发区隔一条福厦路相望，总面积约3.5平方千米。[1][2]社区辖前店、双坑、后坑三个自然村，设17个居民小组。[1][3]社区西邻宿燕古刹。[4]社区名称始于1958年合作化高级社时期。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年，合作化高级社期间定名为登峰。1961年体制下放时，此地改为江南公社的登峰大队。1984年，改设登峰村委会，村委会设在后坑村。[2]福建省爱卫会于2022年12月授予社区「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号。[2]
人口与自然村[edit]
鲤城区政府网社区简介载，社区住户共1934户，居民4903人；其中常住住户923户、居民2853人，外来居民2050人（1021户），此页未注统计年份。[1]前店自然村所在地也是泉州南高速公路入口的所在地。[1]
地理位置[edit]
社区处于鲤城区南大门，距泉州展览城及桥南片区不到1千米，泉州中体奥林匹克花园位于社区中部。[1]
