田中社区是浮桥街道下辖的社区，面积0.642平方千米，位于晋江南岸一带[1][2]。名称来历是早年村落建在田园中央[2]。

地理环境[edit]

社区东侧靠黄龙大道，西侧靠田中大道，南侧与繁荣大道相接，北侧临着江滨南路[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，这里隶属南安县幸福乡。1984年10月，改为分设，另成立田中村委会；2003年5月，田中村的村委会转为居民委员会，即今田中社区居委会[2]。

文化[edit]

社区连续被中共泉州市委、市政府评为2008至2010年、2011至2013年、2014至2016年、2017至2019年度文明社区；2016年社区党支部获评先进基层党组织；2021年11月被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」[1][2]。
