社区东面与海滨街道的笋浯社区相邻，南面接霞洲社区，西面与石崎社区相接，北面与新步社区相连[1]。

全社区分为8个居民小组，共551户、1538名常住居民[1]。

文化[edit]

社区在2017年、2021年和2023年先后被评为鲤城区文明社区，分别属2015至2016、2019至2020、2021至2022年度；2018年被评为鲤城区志愿服务示范点[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

泉州石笋桥位于社区内，年代为北宋，为县级文物保护单位[2][3]。
