红梅社区是开元街道下辖的社区，位于鲤城区东北部，东至崇福路，南临东街。[2]社区名因与原红梅街毗邻而来。[1]社区西北侧与崇福寺相邻，寺中有宋初石塔应庚塔。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

红梅居委会设于1981年5月，最初由开元办事处统辖。2002年红松居委会并入，社区遂称红梅。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

崇福寺始建于北宋初年，寺内现存宋初石塔应庚塔、明初铜钟大洪钟及大雄宝殿。[2]应庚塔为省级文物保护单位。[3]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名红梅社区为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
