泉山社区是开元街道下辖的社区，位于鲤城区北侧，东边紧邻梅山社区，西边与华新社区接壤。[2]社区名取自境内的泉山门，这是一座带有闽南建筑特色的门楼。[1]辖区内有通天宫，北门街保存着闽南建筑风貌。[2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

北门居委会是社区的前身，1994年更名为泉山居委会；2002年3月，它与希夷居委会合并，此后称今名。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

通天宫位于本社区，年代为宋至清，属古建筑，列入泉州市市、县级文物保护单位名录。[3][4]据博雅地名网，该宫宋代创建，清代重建，1997年又修建。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名泉山社区为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
