东升社区是开元街道下辖的社区，位于泉州市鲤城区东街一带，东起二郎巷，南接东街。[2]社区名因其地处鲤城区东侧而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里在1954年设为东升村，直到2002年才改设社区居委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内有两座寺庙：相公巷上有桂香宫，金池巷里有金池庙，后者建于清代光绪年间，建筑的古意保存至今。[2]
