隘南社区位于泉州老城区东南部，北至大隘门，南到泉州大桥，2002年3月由隘南、溪滨两个居委会整合而成。[1]社区内有天后宫、德济门遗址等文物古迹。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

隘南之名因社区位于大隘门的南面。[1]

清代此地归晋江城南溪亭铺的义全境管辖，民国时属温陵镇德济保；新中国成立初属晋江县南区。1952年，此地成为临江街道办事处下的隘南街，“文化大革命”期间改名先锋街，1980年1月恢复原名。2002年3月，隘南与溪滨两个居委会合并为隘南社区。[1][2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

宝海庵在厂口街后山，北宋雍熙四年（987年）开始兴建，为泉州市级文物保护单位。[5]

社区内的修理南涂二关外水利碑为清代石刻，市级文物保护单位。[1]

天后宫与德济门遗址位于天后路一带，维基百科将二者均列于本社区。[4]

文化[edit]

本社区于2022年12月获评「2022年福建省卫生社区」，授予单位是省爱国卫生运动委员会。[1]
