东鲁社区以辖区内的东鲁巷命名[1]。东鲁居委会是在1980年代中期由迎春居委会分出的，2002年5月与迎春居委会合并为东鲁社区[1][2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

释迦寺在东鲁巷，为县级文物保护单位，博雅地名网称其为明代所建[2][3]。据博雅地名网所载，寺址原为元代蒲寿庚府第书房的一角，明代先有小庵，后来宰相李廷机为其女修建此寺，时间在万历年间[2]。博雅地名网还称社区大部分辖区为蒲寿庚府第遗址，社区内的棋盘园、龙会宫、灵慈宫等古迹即在其中[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，东鲁社区上榜「福建省2018—2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；2021年11月，社区获评「2021年福建省卫生社区」[1]。
