荆坪村位于福建省三明市永安市东部，是上坪乡下辖的行政村。村名的来历是村里原有一片长满荒草的平地，远望一片金黄，取“荆”字与“金”字同音而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

永安县于明景泰三年（1452年）设立，本村列入其二十四都。民国时期归龙岭乡。1950年划入三区，属贡川乡一带。上坪公社于1958年把本村纳入，1984年设立荆坪村村民委员会，此后隶上坪乡。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年7月，又被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
