林山畲族村是洪田镇海拔最高的村落，人口最少，距镇政府20公里。[1] 村子辖山顶坑、佛台坑、贯脚垅三个自然村，三村同处群山密林深处，村名由此而来。[1]

族源与生计[edit]

据传，山顶坑村民是八百年前从永定迁来的畲族人，早年以刀耕火种、狩猎为生。[1] 村民如今主要经营毛竹林，出售竹、木、笋、药材。[1]

名胜[edit]

贯脚垄自然村有「闽西北游击队活动地（贯脚垄吊脚楼）」，博雅地名网列为一般不可移动文物。[2]
