黄坑村四面环山，海拔400米，最高处海拔1050米，主要发展林业和农业。[1] 村名因最早在此居住的村民姓黄，且四面环山形如凹坑而得名。[2] 明代起，蔡族人迁入居住。[1]

据族谱记载，村中居民多为济阳蔡氏，系北宋龙图阁大学士蔡襄的后代。[1]

荣誉[edit]
