樟林村旧称曹岩，坐落于永砂公路边，离镇政府约2公里，海拔230米，全村为谢姓。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期隶属永安县二十七都，民国时期划入大湖区。1950年至1969年间，所在地先后归安砂、贡川、大湖、坑边管辖，1969年起重归曹远。[1]

50年代末，福建水泥厂选址于本村，此后村里办起石灰厂、砂石厂等企业，劳动力多转向二、三产业。[2]
