上曹村位于曹远镇东北部，距镇政府约3.5公里，海拔290米。村域内石灰石矿产丰富。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期隶属永安县二十七都，民国时期划入大湖区。1950年至1969年间，所在地先后归安砂、贡川、大湖、坑边管辖，1969年起重归曹远。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省农业农村厅认定上曹村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，时间为2022年10月。[1]
