本村的名称，政府名录与博雅地名网均写作清水池村，位于曹远镇东部，距镇政府约3公里，海拔200米。村庄是中国航空先驱刘佐成的故乡。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期隶属永安县三十一都，民国时期划入大湖区。1950年至1969年间，所在地先后归安砂、大湖、坑边管辖，1969年起重归曹远。[1]

经济[edit]

村庄依托石灰石资源，自80年代起兴办企业。村中有一家水泥企业，即天平八闽水泥股份有限公司，前身为红江水泥厂。1993年起推行新村建设规划，此后多数农户建了新房。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中孝思堂内的清水池刘佐成故居及塑像，为县级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办将清水池村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
