汶四村位于曹远镇东南部，靠近福建纺织化纤集团有限公司，距镇政府约5公里，海拔170米。村内有汶四红军驻地旧址（下新厝）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期隶属永安县三十一都，民国时期划入大湖区。1950年至1969年间，所在地先后归安砂、大湖、坑边管辖，1969年起重归曹远。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

汶四红军驻地旧址（下新厝）在本村40号，为县级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」；2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象；同年7月，又被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
