曹远镇是福建省三明市永安市下辖的镇，位于永安市区西北，距市区约8千米，镇政府驻坑边村。截至2019年末，全镇户籍人口20625人。[1]

全镇辖岩城、汶州两个社区和22个行政村。[1][5] 1992年9月由曹远乡改设为曹远镇；据博雅地名网，镇名因地处九龙溪下游的曹溪岸边而得。[2][4]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，今镇域分属永安县二十七都和三十一都。1934年起属大湖区曹远乡；1950年曹远乡改属安砂区。1959年底，坑边一带自大湖人民公社划出，设立「国营坑边畜牧场」。[4]

1961年设曹远人民公社，1962年曹远、汶洲、坑边三社并立，1966年9月三社合为坑边人民公社，1969年其治所迁往埔头，改称曹远人民公社。1984年9月改称曹远乡人民政府，1992年9月起称曹远镇。[4][1]

2019年，国有企业的社会职能分离，设立汶州社区，其前身为1971年始建的福建维尼纶厂。[8]

地理环境[edit]

镇域气候属亚热带季风气候。[1] 九龙溪在镇中部沿岸串联上墩、下墩等村，霞鹤村海拔160米，蔡地村海拔520米。[2][10][11]

交通[edit]

三泉高速与永大公路贯穿全镇，镇内另有五条铁路专用线。[3]

经济[edit]

镇内工业以建材、纺织和铸造为主，境内已探明石灰石、原煤和陶粒页岩等矿产。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

清水池村孝思堂内的清水池刘佐成故居及塑像，为县级文物保护单位。[3][6]

汶四村40号的汶四红军驻地旧址（下新厝）同为县级文物保护单位。[3][9]

人物[edit]

刘佐成（1883—1943），福建永安人，早年留学日本，学习制造飞机，后任南京国民政府航空署参谋。博雅地名网称清水池村为其故乡。[7][6]
