冲四村在大湖镇境内，离镇约9公里。1962年，它从新冲一带分立出来设为冲四大队，村名因此确定。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期这里是永安县二十六都的一部分，民国时归大湖乡。1950年划入第三区大湖乡，1951年成为新冲乡的一部分，1954年归贡川区新冲乡。[1]

1958年10月起属大湖公社；1962年1月划归新冲公社，1966年9月又并回大湖公社。1984年设村民委员会，隶属大湖乡政府；1992年属大湖镇政府。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，冲四村获命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
