冲三村位于大湖镇境内，距镇约9公里。村名的来历：1962年自新冲一带分出冲三大队，此后随新冲公社的改制而定名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代属永安县二十六都，民国时属大湖乡，1950年划入第三区，1951年改属新冲乡，1954年归贡川区。[1]

1958年10月起属大湖公社，1962年1月改属新冲公社，1966年9月又回到大湖公社；1984年设立村民委员会，隶属大湖乡政府，1992年改属大湖镇政府。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，冲三村获命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
