益溪村位于大湖镇南部，离镇中心约5公里，距永安城区则约9公里。村名取自流经村旁的益溪河。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属永安县二十七都，民国时期为大湖乡所辖。1951年至1956年间，村归大湖、贡川两个区管辖，1958年10月并入大湖公社。[1]

1984年设立村民委员会，隶属大湖乡；1992年改属大湖镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，村获命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
