上甲村位于大湖镇境内，距镇区约1.2公里。村落坐落在山岬之中，村名借用与“岬”同音的“甲”字，寓意村民精神积极向上。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村落始建于明朝。明清两代归永安县二十七都，民国时期归大湖乡，1958年起改属大湖公社。[1]
1984年才设立村民委员会，隶属大湖乡；1992年改属大湖镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年2月，村入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单；同年11月，福建省爱卫办授予上甲村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
2024年7月，村先后获命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
