坑源村在大湖镇境内，村名取自村内一个自然村的名字，那里是村民主要的居住地。[1]

村内有福建省立师范学校旧址群的建筑，博雅地名网还称村中有国家4A级风景区石林。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

这里明清两代归永安县二十七都所辖，民国时则设为大湖乡。1950年起先后隶属第三区与贡川区的大湖乡，1958年10月改归大湖公社。[1]

1984年村子仍在大湖乡之下；1992年，村民委员会才在坑源设立，村子随之归大湖镇管辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

福建省立师范学校旧址群的建筑分布在坑源村与大湖村境内，年代为1939年至1945年，列入2020年第十批文物保护单位。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年6月，坑源村被列入「福建省第四批省级传统村落」名单；同年11月，村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2022年10月，坑源村由福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年2月，村被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
