村落原名尾坂，后寓意争取建设美丽村落，改称美坂。[1]
荣誉[edit]
美坂村于2015年10月列入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」名录。[1]「2021年福建省卫生村」称号于2021年11月由福建省爱卫办授予美坂村。[1]
