新发冲村临近205国道，靠近贡川水东工业区。[1][5]

村名原作固发冲，后改为新发冲。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄始于唐代，早年属沙县的二十六都；永安县设于明景泰三年（1452年），此地属永安县的二十六都。[1][3]

民国年间归龙岭乡所辖；1951年至1954年间先后属荆岗乡、张荆乡，1958年10月列入贡川人民公社。[3]

1984年设立村民委员会。[3]

2020年12月，村庄入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村（蔬菜）」名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

当地经济以果蔬种植和禽类养殖为主。[5]

村中有部分村民到企业务工，多数农户在家种植果蔬。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有市级文物保护单位张若谷墓，2000年列入第二批名单。[4]
