双峰村位于贡川镇高山地区，海拔约1000米，山林与毛竹资源丰富。[1]

村名取自村落位于两座山峰之中。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄始建于唐代。早年隶属沙县崇仁里的二十六都，明景泰三年（1452年）划入永安县。[1][2]

民国时期属龙岭乡，1950年代归上坪区，1958年10月列入贡川人民公社。[2]

1984年2月设立村民委员会，村名至今未改。[2]

2020年2月，村庄入选「福建省第三批省级传统村落」名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村民多靠外出打工经商，兼营禽畜养殖、种菜和毛竹经营。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的双峰李氏宗祠为市级文物保护单位，2020年列入第四批名单。[3]
