龙大村靠近桃源洞风景名胜区，205国道经过村边，据博雅地名网所载，是贡川镇最大的行政村。[1][2]

村名取自所在的一条山垄，「垅通龙」之意，地域宽广。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在明清为二十六都的一部分，民国年间划归龙岭乡。[3]

1958年10月，村庄作为龙大大队归入贡川公社；1984年设立龙大村民委员会。[3]

2021年9月，村庄列入全国第二批乡村治理示范村名单；2021年12月，获评「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2022年12月，福建省爱卫办授予其「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1][4]

地理环境[edit]

村域多山林，以毛竹林为主，另有生态公益林与风景林。[2]
