观成村位于贡川集镇之内，镇人民政府驻地即在本村，与镇政府相邻。[1][3]

村名源于古贡川城北门的「观成门」，村落在此建立后沿用了这一名称。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村落始建于唐代。明景泰三年（1452年）永安设县以前，此处归沙县管辖，属其二十六都；设县之后仍为永安县二十六都。[1][5]

民国年间归贡川乡管辖；1950年代起先后划入大湖区与贡川区，1958年10月改为贡川人民公社的一部分。该村于1984年设立村民委员会。[1][5]

地理环境[edit]

鹰厦铁路从村旁经过，对外交通较为方便。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的正顺庙为市级文物保护单位，1984年列入首批名单。[4]
