上螺村位于西洋镇西南部，距镇政府约6.5公里，是革命老区村。[1]

村子原称“小螺村”，因地形似田螺得名。1966年，小螺公社撤销并入西洋公社，此后村庄一分为上螺、下螺。[1][2]

2022年12月，上螺村被定为「2022年福建省卫生村」。2024年7月，该村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代此地归永安二十八都，民国改属西洋乡。1951年9月划入西洋区小螺乡，1958年10月并入西洋公社。1962年，小螺公社下设小螺大队，1966年2月撤销小螺人民公社。20世纪60年代，原小螺大队划分为上、下螺两个大队。1984年隶属西洋镇，设上螺村民委员会，2013年底迁入新建的办公楼。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有廊桥田头桥和红军桥，红军桥的旧名为步云桥，建成于1681年；村中另有正顺庙与文昌阁。[2]

1968年至1976年，该村接纳知识青年下乡，原知青楼现为文化展示馆。[2]

经济[edit]

村落历史上以柑橘种植为主，后因黄龙病改种毛竹，并兴起竹材加工。2016年，该村被列为乡村旅游扶贫重点村。[2]
