社区名称来自原汽车厂附近的地名「马鞍甲」，2004年设立时沿用此地名。[2]

地理环境[edit]

社区北边以石门桥为界，南抵桂化新村，东侧与永浆村相接，西侧是国有林场。[1]

据2023年12月发布的社区介绍，社区覆盖5638户、13921人，分为17个居民小组。[1]

文化[edit]
