太平社区是福建省三明市永安市燕南街道下辖的居民委员会，位于永安老城中心。[1]社区于1989年12月设立，归燕南街道管辖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年，这里先设太平街道委员会，归城关镇管理。[1]1989年12月，太平社区正式设立，划入燕南街道。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区东界在南坑路一侧，西侧为燕江中路，南边靠近南塔路，北边到大同路与美食街一带，占地约1平方千米。[1]周边商业街、银行和医院等生活配套较为齐全。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据2023年12月发布的社区介绍，社区共有3223户，常住人口9248人。[1]

文化[edit]

社区党委推行「党建+规范化」，把小区兼合党支部与物业公司结合起来，并建立了四类服务网格。[1]

社区先后获得「全国综合减灾示范社区」「福建省老年人健身康乐家园」「三明市充分就业星级社区」「三明市巾帼文明岗」等30余项国家、省、市级荣誉称号。[1]
