上吉山村是燕西街道管辖的行政村，地处街道西侧，紧邻205国道。[1][2]

村辖村后、长源垅、村长、魏厝等自然村，文川溪穿村而过。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属二十九都，民国时属吉山乡。1984年成立村委会，2002年3月划归燕西街道。[1][3]

抗战时期，据博雅地名网所载，村中曾作为福建省临时省会的办公地，前后达七年半，村中留有较集中的抗战文化遗址。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年3月，村被列入第六批中国传统村落名录。[3][4]

2021年6月，村入选福建省第四批省级传统村落名单；2021年12月，被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2025年11月，被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
