大余村属福建省三明市建宁县黄埠乡，是一个省际边界村，西北部与江西省广昌县毗邻，距黄埠集镇约13千米。村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是村中余姓聚居，村域较大。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1984年，由客坊乡划出，划归黄埠乡，设立大余村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
