桂阳村属福建省三明市建宁县黄埠乡，是乡域西北角的行政村，西北部与江西省广昌县毗邻。村庄是革命老区基点村，辖11个自然村。[1][2]

人口[edit]

截至2010年，全村有268户、1138人，有党员26名。全村耕地面积2272亩，以种植烟叶、莲子、制种和水稻为主。[1][5]

经济[edit]

村里引导农户种植桂阳萝卜，这是本村的特色产业。2010年6月，六户萝卜种植大户发起组建了建宁县桂阳萝卜专业合作社。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武初年此地属北区癸羊保。1950年设桂阳乡人民政府，1958年改为生产大队，1984年由客坊乡划出，设立桂阳村民委员会。[1]

据博雅地名网所载，太平军曾在此驻扎，因而命名为桂阳。[1]

2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2021年12月，被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2022年10月，被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2023年12月，被认定为「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」（桂阳萝卜）；2024年2月，被确定为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建对象。[1][5]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的桂阳游击队旧址即张王庙，1931年2月，在此成立了桂阳游击队。[3]

桂阳中心区苏维埃政府遗址在村中老街，始建于清代，占地414平方米。[4]
