水尾村位于客坊乡东南部，距建宁县城约70公里，是革命老区基点村之一。村中留存的红色旧址中，红军银行、红军兵工厂、红军医院和闽赣基干游击队司令部四处，已列入县级革命文物保护单位。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前村子属新安乡的水尾保。1950年设水尾乡人民政府，1951年隶属第五区，1956年属里心区公所，改称水尾乡人民委员会。1958年村子成为里心人民公社的生产大队，1961年划归客坊公社，1984年成立村民委员会，现属客坊乡。[1]

1932年，红军第二次进驻建宁，指挥部设在村中的李家排，闽赣基干游击队司令部旧址即在此地。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子四周是群山，村中却较为平坦，被称作“高山小平原”。村域面积5.8平方千米，其中山地1.3233万亩，耕地0.1129万亩。矿产有稀土、瓷土、金矿、石英石、钾长石和云母片。[2]

人口[edit]

村子下有3个自然村、10个村民小组，228户，950人。[2]

经济[edit]

种植以水稻、莲子、烟叶为主，此外还有制种与毛竹。畜牧方面以猪、牛和禽类为多。[2]

文化[edit]

村里保存了六处较完好的革命旧址，它们分别与闽赣基干游击队司令部、苏区银行、红军医院、红军被服厂、建宁县苏维埃政府和苏区兵工厂有关。县政府网称，客坊是红色故地。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

客坊水尾红军小镇景区位于乡境西南部，县政府网称水尾一带的红色旧址先后获评「国家4A级旅游景区」。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2017年8月，村子列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录。2020年度「福建省乡村振兴实绩突出村」，2021年4月获评。2021年4月，村子被命名为「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」。2021年11月，村子被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2021年12月，村子被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。2022年10月，村子经省级认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年7月，村子被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月还被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1][2]
