客坊乡是福建省三明市建宁县西南部的乡，位于闽赣两省三县六乡的交界处。乡域东北与黄埠乡相连，西南一侧与江西省广昌县的乡镇接壤，南端紧邻宁化县的安远镇。全乡面积110.6平方千米，离县城约50千米，山林广布，森林覆盖率约77.31%。乡名的来历与旧时的往来商旅有关：过境客商常在这里歇宿，客栈众多，于是得名“客坊”。乡内有红军时期的革命旧址、古刹白云寺和马尾寨风景区，县境通往江西的道路经过这里。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时期这里称孝义乡，明代隶属西区，清代归西乡管辖。苏维埃时期在此设立客坊区苏维埃，1934年划入第四区，1941年改属新安乡。解放初期属二区，1951年12月改入新设的第五区，1956年并回第二区，1961年设客坊公社。[3]

2020年12月，客坊乡被福建省爱卫办授予「福建省卫生乡镇」称号。[3]

地理环境[edit]

乡境位于建宁县西南部，多山地，林地面积大。生态公益林有3.4725万亩，森林覆盖率为77.31%左右。耕地约2.08万亩，林地约13.45万亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据县政府网，全乡有3239户，总人口13062人，其中常住人口约3500人。在外的同乡多在南京、天津、广东等地，行业以制造和贸易为主。[1]

农业以水稻、莲子和烟叶为主。[1]

文化[edit]

境内革命旧址多集中在水尾村。闽赣基干游击队司令部、苏区银行、红军医院、红军被服厂等旧址都在那里，县政府网称客坊是红色故地。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

白云寺是境内的古刹，神宗皇帝曾赐名「白云崇圣寺」，宋代王安石少年时曾来此寄读，并留下《云山十奇》一诗。[1]

马尾寨风景区以马尾飞瀑为主要景点，瀑布位于龙溪村村尾。[1][5]五龙山古山寨在县政府网上被称为「八闽第一寨」。[1]

著名人物[edit]

南宋理学家刘刚中生于1165年，卒于1233年，字德言。他于嘉定四年（1211）中进士，曾在朱熹门下学习理学，著有《师友问答》《西溪奇语》《梦疑篇》等。客坊村街心的刘刚中理学文化公园，园内设有他的塑像。[4]
