桐荣村是溪源乡东北部的行政村，北与江西省黎川县接壤，东与泰宁县新桥乡交界，村部距乡政府约12公里，与本乡东溪村毗邻。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村名合自「桐家地」与「荣家寮」两个主要村落的名称。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋元时属东乡楚上保，明初属东区楚上保，民国时为东安乡的桐荣保。解放初设桐荣乡，1956年改为乡人民委员会，1958年改为生产大队，1984年设村民委员会。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
桐荣村于2021年11月被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1] 2022年10月，桐荣村被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
