楚尾村是溪源乡南部的行政村，位于乡境南端，距建宁县城24公里，南与泰宁县大田乡交界，西与黄坊乡相邻。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子位于楚溪的末端，故名楚尾。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年，楚尾为溪源人民公社的生产大队；1959年迁往黄坊，属黄坊人民公社；1972年划回溪源人民公社。1984年设村民委员会。[1]
产业与建筑[edit]
种烟是村里的支柱，烟田约1600亩，在全县属于种烟大村。2001年，村子曾被省里选为烟叶种植示范基地。[2]
村中留有古民居两座，另有祠堂、古井、老街和旧巷；民谣、龙舞、庙会等习俗也在村里流传。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2001年，楚尾村被三明市授予「先进基层党组织」称号。[2] 楚尾村于2021年11月被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1] 2022年10月，楚尾村被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1] 同年12月，福建省绿化委员会又把「2022年福建省森林村庄」的称号授予楚尾村。[1] 2023年11月，楚尾村被认定为「第三批全国乡村治理示范村」。[1] 2025年3月，楚尾村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
